This course is designed to give a basic introduction into the main principles and stages of managing a project.
The information given in the course can be applied to small or large projects of any nature. It is intended for those new to project management and is not suitable for people who have previously completed training on the subject.
The resources slide at the end of the presentation signposts participants to institutions who offer more in depth training/qualifications should they wish to expand on the learning from this course.
By the end of this session participants will be able to:
- understand what makes a project successful;
- learn how to involve their community in project planning and engage partners;
- understand the stages of a project and their importance;
- learn how to plan a project.
