Action on Hearing Loss want volunteers to help people in community that use hearing aids
Date published: 21/06/2018
Can you volunteer for Action on Hearing Loss?
They are looking to recruit volunteers in Bridgend to give a few hours per month to help people in the community that use hearing aids.
Around 575,500 people in Wales are deaf or have hearing loss – as much as the populations of Cardiff and Swansea combined. At Action on Hearing Loss Cymru, they work in communities around Wales to support people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. They also campaign for equal access to employment, health, entertainment and other services.
Want to develop new skills and meet new people?
A desire to give back to your community?
If the answer is yes, get involved with 'Hear to Help' and learn how to help people use their hearing aids.
