Find out in Environet's new toolkit.
Environet’s new toolkit is packed full of ideas for getting involved in environmental volunteering and celebrates fantastic projects making a difference in Wales.
Many people care about the environment but might be unsure how to make a positive impact. Big issues like climate change, species loss, or plastic marine pollution can stir up debate on social media but it can sometimes seem difficult to turn concern into action.
Environmental volunteering is a great way to start supporting the planet whilst giving back to your local community and there are many opportunities that can fit into your schedule.
This toolkit is designed to help people into environmental volunteering who might not have thought about it before and promotes the exciting opportunities available from local and national organisations.
The toolkit is divided into themes to help people find a project or idea which is right for them:
- People and Community;
- Practical Action;
- Food and Growing;
- Art and Creativity;
- Digital Technology;
- Healthy and Active.
The toolkit also includes ideas on how to green up your daily life in the 'Going Further' section for those people who want to do more for the planet. It suggests ways to decrease your carbon, water, and plastic footprints and ongoing campaigns for longer term activities.
