Become a volunteer Community First Responder

The Welsh Ambulance Service is currently looking for volunteers to become Community First Responders in Pencoed, Porthcawl, Maesteg, Pyle and Garw and Ogmore Valleys.
Community First Responders are volunteers who are trained by the Welsh Ambulance Service to attend certain types of 999 calls. Volunteers can arrive at an emergency scene in a matter of minutes, as they are sent to calls in their local area, where they will provide emergency care until an ambulance arrives.
