Groundwork seeking to appoint Trustee

Groundwork Wales supports communities in need, working with partners to help improve the quality of people’s lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play. Their vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper
Candidates will have Board experience and knowledge of the changing public and private funding and policy environments in which Groundwork operates. They are seeking trustees with the energy, passion and creativity to support us to take this unique and dynamic organisation to the next stage in its development.
Groundwork Wales is particularly under-represented by those who can support them by dedicating time to Ruman Resources and Business Development.
They are also seeking a trustee willing to take on the role of company secretary.
Board meetings are usually held in Pontllanfraith, Blackwood once a quarter. The role is voluntary with expenses.
