Free learning event on exploitation of adults and children to launch National Safeguarding Week

The Western Bay Safeguarding Board invites you to their event on Monday 12 November 2018 at Liberty City posterStadium, Swansea.

Morning session from 9.30am - 12.30pm will include:

  • Introduction -  Jan Pickles - National Independent Safeguarding Board;
  • Introduction to Western Bay Safeguarding Boards - Guest speaker of Western Bay Safeguarding Board;
  • County Lines - Martin Jones - Chief Superintendent, South Wales Police;
  • Coercion and Control - Rachael Eagles - Chief Executive, Calan DVS.

  • Organised Crime and Local Scams - Hayley Niven - Enforcement Officer, Trading Standards and Ray Foulston - Enforcement and Health Improvement Officer, Trading Standards;
  • Question and answer session.
