Poverty and welfare reform: exploring the impact on homelessness and housing-related support

The day will consist of plenaries and workshops on a range of topics relevant to poverty in Wales and the impact of welfare reform, including how this relates to people who use and deliver homelessness and housing-related support services.

- Devolution of Universal Credit powers;
- Socio-economic disadvantage and suicidal behaviour;
- Young people and welfare reform;
- Devolution of housing costs in short-term supported accommodation;
- Social security for vulnerable people;
- The Valleys taskforce.
This is an all-day event, with lunch and refreshments provided. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts and network.
