Learndirect courses

You are also able to register for FREE Learndirect courses. They have courses suitable for absolute beginners logoand can help you progress to qualifications in IT such as, the internationally recognised ECDL which shows great competency in using Microsoft Office programmes e.g. Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Internet and E-mail, Presentations, Files and folders etc.

Learning with Learndirect is flexible. You can do all courses at any locations that have internet access including your own home or at a library during one of our informal drop-in sessions. Courses are broken down into bite-size chunks and you can learn at your own pace.

English and Maths help at the Ton Pentre Suite

If you need to brush up on your English or maths, the Ton Pentre suite in Pyle Life Centre offers you the opportunity to gain new skills and help you to work towards a qualification. They can help you access a range of free Learndirect courses suitable for beginners in many subjects including basic maths, English and IT; all in a friendly and informal environment.
