This course organised by Valley and Vale Community Arts, is designed to support the aims and ethos of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. The Act calls for changes in care service delivery with an emphasis on early intervention, prevention and well-being.
In the three days the course will look at practical ways to use creativity to promote:
- person centred care;
- relational work;
- enriched care environments;
- strengths based interventions;
- outcome focused approaches;
- staff wellbeing.
Person Centred Creativity is most often used in group contexts, these can be staff or client groups, but many of the techniques are used in one to-one assessments, interventions and supervision.
