FREE WEBINAR: Data Protection requirements are changing - do you know how to comply?

In May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect. Organisations need to start planning now to make sure they are fully compliant when the new regulation is implemented.
To help you prepare, County Voluntary Council's and WCVA, in conjunction with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) will be holding free monthly webinars from May 2017 focussing on data protection.

- Subject Access eRquests.

GDPR is a 21st Century approach to data protection, it aims to provide more protection for individuals and therefore more privacy obligations for organisations. Help protect privacy and avoid potential fines by signing up to our webinars and keeping your organisation up to speed.
Coming up - Subject Access Requests
Individuals have the right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to make a Subject Access Request in order to obtain copies of their personal data. In this webinar we will explain what is a Subject Access Request, how you should handle a request and what changes the General Data Protection Regulation will bring.
