BAVO FREE third sector 'Tendering and Procurement with the Public Sector' event

BAVO would like to invite you to our FREE OF CHARGE information event on tendering and procurement on Monday 20 March 2017 at Brackla Tabernacle - Whitethorn Drive, Brackla, Bridgend, CF31 2LL.
We are pleased to offer the third sector in Bridgend County Borough the opportunity to find out more about income generation through tendering and procurement.
The two free of charge sessions are being supported by Business Wales, Bridgend County Borough Council and ABMU Health Board. You can attend either or both sessions, but please note there is limited availability, so book soon - deadline for booking is Monday 13 March!
SESSION 1: 'How to Tender - An Introduction'
Time: 9.15am - 12:30pm
As a result of our training needs analysis of the third sector, we are hosting a practical and informative workshop session on 'How to Tender'. Business Wales will be delivering this half-day workshop and places are limited to 20 organisations.
This session is suitable for any organisation that has an interest in selling services, goods or products and is specifically geared for publicly-funded organisations who are new to the tendering process and online tendering.
The workshop will:
- help you understand the buying processes followed by the public sector;
- provide guidance on the type of information required in applications;
- explain how to find opportunities relevant to your business;
- help you assess your tender readiness;
- identify where improvements can be made.
* Please note this session will be restricted to one person per organisation
SESSION 2: 'Procurement Within the Public Sector - What You Need To Know'
Time: 1.45 - 4pm
Our free afternoon session will give delegates a clear understanding of the buying processes within public sector organisations in Bridgend County Borough. Speakers include:
- Business Wales;
- ABMU Health Board;
- Bridgend County Borough Council Procurement Department .
The afternoon session will finish with the opportunity for participants to meet the guest speakers and have any questions answered.
