Prevention and Well Being Event 2019
‘Falls are everyone’s business’

Hi Tide Room, Hi Tide Inn, Mackworth Road, Porthcawl CF36 5BT
From 9.30am until 1pm

The event will provide an opportunity to showcase developments and innovation within the Bridgend locality in relation to Falls Prevention and Prevention and Well Being.

It is being held in partnership with ABMU Health Board, Bridgend County Borough Council, Bridgend Care and Repair and BAVO.

The day will include an introduction from Andrew Thomas, Group Manager for Prevention and Well Being, Bridgend County Borough Council and contributions from:

  • Pendre Medical Day Unit – Falls Clinic;
  • BAVO/Third Sector;
  • Managing Better Service;
  • Care and Repair, Primary Care Project;
  • NERS/HALO;
  • Connected Communities;
  • Dance to health;
  • Chair of the National Task Force for Falls Prevention.
