Bookings are now open for Learning Disability Wales'  Annual Conference focusing on how we can invest in a better future for people with a learning disability by changing the way we do things and doing different things.

All our futures will focus on issues from childhood, through adulthood and into older age reflecting relevant key laws and policies in Wales: Improving Lives Programme, Well-being of Future Generations Act, Social Services and Well-being Act and Prosperity for All.

There will be a lively mix of interactive and informative workshops, speakers and drama including:

  • Huw Iranca-Davies AM, Minister for Children, Older People and Social Care;
  • Sally Holland, Children’s Commisioner for Wales;
  • Community solutions;
  • Using technology;
  • Improving lives programme;
  • Hijinx Theatre;
  • Employment​.
