Have your say on proposed amendments to regulations under Part 9 of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014
Date published: 06/09/2018
On 1 April 2019, healthcare services in the Bridgend County Borough Council area will transfer to Cwm Taf University Health Board from Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, moving the health board boundary accordingly. This requires WElsh Government to amend the Partnership Arrangements (Wales) Regulations 2015 in relation to the membership of both the Western Bay and Cwm Taf regional partnership boards.
This boundary change has already been consulted on and agreed. Welsh Government is not therefore seeking views on this aspect of the amendment regulations.
This does however also provide an opportunity to revise other aspects of the Partnership Regulations, specifically to:
- clarify requirements for regional partnership boards to establish pooled funds in relation to care homes;
- require housing representation on regional partnership boards;
- require regional partnership boards to produce regional commissioning strategies;
- clarify the date when regional partnership boards must produce annual reports.
The consultation seeks your views on these proposed changes which can be found by clicking here >>>
The deadline for responses is 26 October 2018.
