'My Generation' is a free programme to help those of us over 50 to improve our wellbeing, together.
Group sessions will explore staying mentally well including activities such as armchair aerobics, mindfulness, craft, guest speakers and spending time with others.
Getting older has its challenges - for example leaving work, loneliness, money worries and bereavement – and these can all affect our wellbeing.
That’s where 'My Generation' can help. You can attend up to eight group sessions where you’ll find out about staying mentally well while enjoying activities such as arm chair aerobics, mindfulness, craft, guest speakers and spending time with others.
You’ll also be able to find out about other projects in your area that could help you, and how you can help others.
'My Generation' is a joint project between Mind Cymru and local Minds in Wales to help people over 50 to stay well by improving their resilience. It's funded by Welsh Government and delivered by your local Mind.
Anyone over 50 living in Bridgend County Borough can take part free of charge.
For more information on 'My Generation' or to take part, contact Tara Davies at Merthyr and the Valleys Mind, T: 01685 707486 or E: firstname.lastname@example.org
