The Inspired for Life Awards 2018 are looking for residents in Bridgend County Borough who have contributed to the improvement of health and wellbeing of others or the community.

If you know someone who deserves an award, there are five up for grabs. Please read the criteria for each category here:

Make a difference awards: 
Based on outstanding achievements which have had a significant impact of the health and wellbeing of the people and community of Bridgend.

Above and beyond award:
This award will be presented to the nominee who shown considerable effort to improving lives and communities in Bridgend. This nominee would have developed learning and insights through listening and implementing local resident’s views and addressed wellbeing issues.

The future is bright award:
This award is designed for a young volunteer ages 24 and under who has shown strong leadership, commitments and contribution to others wellbeing and improvement.

The power of one award:
This award will be presented to an individual age 25 and above who has gone the extra mile and stood out as a major influence in improving wellbeing. This nomination will have the respect of others who recognise the power of their achievements.

Innovation award:
This award will be presented to a nomination who has demonstrated their ability to do things differently and do different things. The successful nominee will clearly show their resourcefulness and creativity which impacts on improving wellbeing.
