Recommendations to promote a seamless health and social care service in Wales

Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and many third sector organisations provided evidence to the independent review into health and social care which released its final report 16 January 2018.
The report, 'A Revolution from Within: Transforming Health and Care in Wales', details the findings of the parliamentary review of health and social care in Wales which looked at current issues facing our health services.
Reflected in the report:
- the role of the voluntary sector noted
- recognition of the huge contribution made by unpaid carers
- a focus on people being able to speak up and have control over their own care
The third sector will continue to play a big part in the change that is needed to provide services to meet increasing demand in times of reducing resource.
