Date published: 11/01/2018

The Getting More Involved Social Care Project works across Wales with the aims:logos

  • To develop a toolkit in partnership with disabled children and young people around their rights under the new social services and wellbeing wales act;
  • Develop young people as trainers to train other young people on participation and having their voices heard during the care planning process;
  • Find out what matters to young disabled people and feed into young wales in three regional events;
  • Deliver workshops to young people on their rights and the new act and provide fun activities to inform the toolkit.

If you would like to get involved with this project or think the toolkit may provide information and advice to anyone you work with, contact:
