Regional Health, Social Care and Well Being Grant Schemes now available
Date published: 22/06/2018
The schemes incorporate ABMU Health Board's Changing for the Better Grants and Western Bay Integrated Care Funds for the Third Sector. The focus of the schemes is to provide a more effective use of funds by connecting both regional and local health and wellbeing priorities by increasing consistency quality of services provided by the third sector and to deliver positive wellbeing outcomes for people in communities.
Funds have become available due to underspend and it is anticipated that further slippage may be returned to the Third Sector pot during 2018/19. This is a small proportion of the total funding and, therefore, a small grants round is being offered, with the opportunity to join a waiting list for further funding if it becomes available.
Individual organisations or projects covering part of the region can apply for up to £3,000. Organisations working across the whole region or in collaboration with other organisations to deliver a joint project across the region can apply for up to £6,000.
