The A B Charitable Trust is specifically keen to offer grants to charities who work within areas of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, penal reform and human rights.
The Trust encourages applications from registered charities that meet their guidelines and criteria.
This criteria includes having a turnover of between £150,000 and £1.5 million a year and not holding have excessive reserves.
Grants given are predominantly between £10,000 and £20,000 and can be for either project or core costs, however capital appeals are rarely supported.
The A B Charitable Trust (ABCT) is an independent, UK based grant-making organisation founded in 1990 that is concerned with promoting and defending human dignity. The Trust supports charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals whatever their circumstances.
