Money to help people gain employment

Date published: 17/04/2018

The Active Inclusion Fund will be open to applications on 27 April for those on the Approved Beneficiary List logo(ABL).

The Active Inclusion Fund supports organisations that work with people to improve their situations and help them move closer to the employment market. This could be by providing funded training opportunities, paid supported employment placements or supporting people to improve their confidence and motivation through practical activities. Will you be the next applicant?

The Fund is managed by Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) supported by funding from European Structural and Investment Funds. It aims to reduce economic inactivity in Wales and improve the employability of disadvantaged people furthest from the labour market.

In order to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the Active Inclusion Fund, you will need to have submitted an Eligibility Questionnaire (EQ) and secured a place on the ABL.

The next round will be invited on 27 April for projects starting in October 2018. (The last possible date for these projects to end will be 31 December 2019).

There will be four rounds:

West Wales and the valleys  25+
West Wales and the valleys Youth
East Wales 25+
East Wales Youth

These rounds are open to all areas and all groups.

If you are not yet on the ABL, don't let that put you off as another round will open in mid-August. The Eligibility Questionnaire is a rolling process and can be submitted at any time however, please note the cut off date for the August round will be 1 July 2018.
