October news from KPC

October has been great so far  for KPC Youth & Community in PyleFront page of bulletin

They would like to celebrate the fantastic achievements of all the runners who recently took part in the Cardiff Half Marathon to help raise funds for them. They would also like to thank thank Jemma and Anna who did the Bristol Half-Marathon for KPC.

Other activities during October included a pilot project to introduce young people to basic computer coding—under the Meet and Code fortnight!

Their KPC Xtra group enjoyed some great trips including the local Fire Station in Kenfig Hill.

KPC attended a Welsh Baccalaureate volunteers event at Bridgend College to help support students to achieve volunteer hours towards this.

They are now working towards activities and plans for their October half-term opening with lots of exciting activities and a trip to Laserzone planned!

KPC Youth & Community is currently working on plans for their 20th birthday celebration—and on Wednesday 28 November will be opening their doors to past/present members, families, supporters and ex-staff/volunteers to mark and celebrate 20 years since they first opened their doors (28 Nov 98!).
