During September they continued to work on a Pilot Project with their Breakfast Get-Togethers with a quarterly get together to share information on what local services offer to our community, a chance to share resources, information and update on their services. All local organisations are welcome to be part of this.
Their Youth Forum has continued to meet and discuss what young people want from KPC's centre and be able to help them make decisions on what happens there.
We were also joined by Kelly from Welsh Government to talk about the new Youth Parliament with 12 young people signing up!
KPC have a new project also running on a Wednesday afternoon - aimed to give a small group of young people additional support, in a smaller group situation than we can with their normal open access provision.
They have continued to provide alternative curriculum support to Bridgend and Pencoed College pupils with sessions covering First Aid, addressing anger management/risky behaviours.
KPC would like to thank everyone who attended their Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 20 September, to support this fantastic cause which affects so many of us. With special thanks to the fantastic pupils from Pil Primary School - who performed some fantastic songs and also to the Mayor of Bridgend for coming along to support them.
