Have your say on children and young people's mental health and wellbeing services in Bridgend County Borough

BAVO wants to hear your views about children and young people's mental health and wellbeing services in Bridgend County Borough
BAVO is undertaking a consultation into children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing services in Bridgend County Borough.
We hope as many people as possible will share their experience with us and contribute to shaping future services for 0 to 18 years and would very much appreciate your contribution.
The survey is being coordinated by our BAVO Mental Health Development Officer and will be undertaken in conjunction with similar studies in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.
The results of the survey will be important in informing how Bridgend’s third sector plans and delivers mental health and wellbeing services for children and young people but will also prove valuable to Bridgend County Borough Council, ABMU Health Board and Primary Care Clusters.
There are two surveys available – one which is aimed at children, young people, parents and carers, and one for staff and organisations providing services in our area.
Both surveys close for responses at 5pm, 31 October 2018.
For children, young people, parents and carers:
If you are a child or young person who in the past two years have thought about, tried to get or had support for your mental health or emotional wellbeing, then we would very much like to hear what your experience was. If you are a parent or carer who has supported a young person with their mental health we would love to hear from you also.
This could have been e.g. going to see your Doctor, someone in your school/college, a Swansea Council service, a project provided by a local charity or community group, CAMHS (Child Adolescent Mental Health Service), outpatients and or hospital service.
There are several ways people can have a voice:

We are also looking for organisations to support the survey by becoming ‘Listeners’ - If you could offer a few hours of your time to listen to children, young people, parents and carers to help record their experiences, please get in touch with Stuart Burge-Jones at BAVO (details below) to arrange.
Again you can also collect a hard copy from our BAVO offices in Maesteg.
