Their Chair will provide inspirational leadership to Valleys to Coast’s Board and Executive Team, ensuring that this combined team works collectively to achieve the best results for their customers, colleagues and business.

Working as a Housing Law Caseworker you will be part of a team who provide a National Housing Advice Service through a mixture of centre, court and surgery based services. Based in Shelter Cymru's Llanelli office you will provide advice as required across the West Wales region, with a particular focus on Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

Groundwork Wales supports communities in need, working with partners to help improve the quality of people’s lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play. Their vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper

Candidates will have experience as trustees and knowledge of the changing public and private funding and policy environments in which Groundwork operates. They are seeking Trustees with the energy, time, passion and creativity to support them take this unique and dynamic organisation to the next stage in its development. They are particularly under-represented by those who can support them by dedicating time to Human Resources, marketing and publicity and Charity Governance and Law.  Groundwork Wales is under-represented by Trustees from Mid and West Wales. 

They are also seeking a trustee willing to take on the role of company secretary.

Board meetings are usually held in Pontllanfraith, Blackwood once a quarter, but they are seeking Trustees who can support them in representing and supporting the organisation in a variety of ways.

The role is voluntary with expenses.
