Working as a Housing Law Caseworker you will be part of a team who provide a National Housing Advice Service through a mixture of centre, court and surgery based services. Based in their Cardiff office you will provide region-wide advice delivery but with a particular focus upon delivery in Newport.

37.5 hours per week, this will include working three evenings per week facilitating activities. Some weekend work may be required.​

This post is responsible for the development and facilitation of a range of diversionary activities for young people aged 11 – 25. The post holder will also participate in community events to increase awareness of substance use and support services available and will be expected to contribute to the development of WCADA’s Young Person’s Service – SWITCH.

The Development Officer will lead the development and oversee the running of  their community library. The Friends of Cymmer Afan Community Library have run the village library since May 2014 when it was closed by the local authority, and since then have started to develop the library into a village hub offering a wide range of events and activities. The Trustees are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to oversee the operation of the library, to support a small team of staff and volunteers, and to lead them through the next phase of our development, helping the library to become a truly multi-purpose community facility working closely with other voluntary agencies in the area.

They are seeking a replacement for their Treasurer who is moving into new fields. They are looking for an accountant who is a good 'Team Player' and committed to helping the homeless.
