The Code of Fundraising Practice
Providing legal and best practice guidance on a wide range of fundraising techniques, the Code of Fundraising Practice provides a guide to the law and best practice in relation to fundraising activity throughout the UK.
You can see the Code and its associated Rulebooks for Street and Door Fundraising here >>>
The body responsible for the Code is the Fundraising Regulator, the independent regulator of charitable fundraising. It was established following a cross-party review of fundraising self-regulation (2015) to strengthen the system of charity regulation and restore public trust in fundraising. From time to time changes are made to develop and improve the code.
