Community Transport Scheme
OTED’s Community Transport Scheme provides low cost, wheelchair accessible, door to door transport for groups and individuals in Bridgend County Borough.
The scheme is available to all those living in the county borough who have difficulty accessing basic public transport services, are socially isolated, may not have other modes of transport, experience mobility difficulties or find it hard to use conventional public transport.
Their drivers, who are all volunteers, use their own vehicles with the additional use of a wheelchair accessible car. They can take you to medical appointments, further education venues, your work place or to social and recreational activities. You just have to make sure that all your journeys are booked at least 48 hours in advance.
