Youth Support Network

Onwards and upwards for the Youth Support Network!

The Youth Support Network is open to any voluntary or community group who works with young people aged 11-25. It enables members to discuss the issues of young people, share good practice and work together to develop opportunities for young people.

As a member you can have access to training and funding opportunities and share the issues, views and needs of young people within your services.

The network is currently in its final stages of developing an integrated youth work strategy for Bridgend County Borough. The strategy is based on the needs of young people within the county borough with evidence collated from several community profiles and from direct consultation with young people.

The strategy will provide a clear direction for voluntary or community groups providing opportunities for young people in Bridgend with a clear focus on the areas that we need to develop in priority order to provide the best outcome for young people.

You too can be a part of this strategic approach. Please contact Amanda Evans, Chair of the Youth Support Network for further information by calling T: 01656 732200 or E: menter@broogwr.org
