The Bridgend Compact

The Compact is an agreement between the government and the voluntary and community sector, that aims to improve their relationship for mutual advantage and community gain.

The Bridgend Compact

The Local Compact provides a framework through which the statutory and voluntary sectors relationships can flourish, and where all parties concerned in developing and delivering local services to the residents of the County can work together to improve the quality of, and access to, those services.

All partners to the Compact recognise that through working together they can significantly increase the range of services, activities and opportunities available to the local community. This will create the best environment and achieve the best quality of life for the communities of Bridgend County Borough.
